WORK STARTS ON NEW PHASE OF STONEBRIDGE CROSS

7 Dec 2004

Midland property partners are celebrating the start of work on an exciting new phase of construction at Stonebridge Cross Business Park in Worcestershire.

Four new production and warehouse units of between 13,000 and 30,000 sq ft are being developed by Birmingham–based Stoford Developments and landowner AXA REIM in response to increasing demand for quality freehold premises.

Located within a 77-acre extensively landscaped greenfield scheme at Droitwich Spa, the new buildings will be available on either a freehold or a leasehold basis and are scheduled for completion in February 2005.

Jason Adderley, Business Development Manager for Stoford, said: “Interest has been shown from a number of freehold occupiers, based not only locally but also throughout the Black Country and South Birmingham.”

He added: “We are also working closely with a number of occupiers seeking larger pre-let opportunities – and hope to make announcements on both fronts early in the New Year.”

Stonebridge Cross, which enjoys excellent transport links at the hub of the Midlands motorway network, is already home to major companies including BUPA, CMCS and Dynamic Europe and recently welcomed window coverings firm Alutrade Products.
